How super-computers will make the City obsolete

This organisation has produced a working paper which posits that most of the City's functions could be transported to a tiny corner of the Brazilian rain forest or an Indian rice field, leaving huge swathes of London EC2 and Canary Wharf property without tenants.  And this scenario might happen in as little as a decade or two – perhaps even sooner given the speed of technological advance.
