Corporate Governance – 20 years old and time for a re-think

Twenty years ago Sir George Adrian Hayhurst Cadbury, a scion of the chocolate family and former Olympic rower, published the Cadbury Report, a code defining  "best boardroom practice". Born into a UK corporate reeling from the Guinness and the Robert Maxwell scandals, it became the basis for a new attitude to corporate governance across the globe.
